MicroRNA 4652 (MIR4652, hsa-mir-4652) is a small non-coding RNA belonging to the microRNA family, typically 19–25 nucleotides in length[2][5]. It regulates gene expression post-transcriptionally by binding to complementary sequences in messenger RNAs, resulting in translational repression or mRNA degradation[2]. Recent studies implicate hsa-miR-4652-5p in the progression of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, suggesting its potential use as a biomarker for early diagnosis[6].
