MicroRNA 4722 (miR-4722, hsa-miR-4722) is a small, endogenous, non-coding RNA molecule classified as a microRNA, present in the human genome[1][5]. There are no current drugs directly targeting miR-4722, and it is not itself considered a classical therapeutic target (like receptors or enzymes), but research is ongoing into its biomarker potential and possible modulation in neurodegenerative disease contexts.
