microRNA 4797 (MIR4797) is a human microRNA gene that encodes a small non-coding RNA involved in regulation of gene expression by base pairing with complementary sequences in messenger RNAs, typically leading to translational repression or mRNA degradation[2][6]. However, the precise mRNA targets, biological functions, and disease associations of MIR4797 specifically remain to be fully elucidated.
