Targets of miR-520f include TM4SF1 (in NSCLC, affecting VEGF and EMT pathways) and SOX9 (in gastric cancer, regulating Wnt/β-catenin signaling)[2][4]. miR-520f and its family members are under investigation as potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets, though miRNA therapy faces challenges including off-target effects and delivery difficulties.
