MicroRNA 526a-1 (miR-526a-1) is a short, non-coding RNA molecule belonging to the microRNA family and is involved in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. It functions by base-pairing with target mRNA molecules, leading to their degradation or translational inhibition.
