Target intelligence / Profile preview
microRNA 6133 (MIR6133) is a predicted human microRNA, part of the non-coding RNA family involved generally in the regulation of gene expression by binding to mRNAs and inhibiting their translation or promoting their degradation. While microRNAs as a class play important roles in cell cycle, development, apoptosis, and disease, there is currently no experimentally validated or disease-relevant data specifically for MIR6133. At this time, MIR6133 should be considered a poorly characterized or unvalidated microRNA for therapeutic or diagnostic purposes[3][4].
