miR-632 is a human microRNA molecule (~20–24 nucleotides) involved in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression[5]. It regulates genes primarily by targeting and silencing their transcripts through base pairing, affecting both transcript stability and protein translation[5][2]. One key target is DNAJB6, a member of the heat shock protein family involved in cell stress response and suppression of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition; miR-632-mediated DNAJB6 inhibition is linked to cancer progression and vessel wall degeneration in Marfan syndrome[1][2]. Clinically, miR-632 has emerged as a promising biomarker for myelodysplastic syndromes and as a potential therapeutic target in cancer and vascular disease[1][2].
