MicroRNA 6514 (MIR6514) is a non-coding RNA molecule of the microRNA family, typically 20-24 nucleotides in length, involved in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression by affecting the stability and translation of target mRNAs. It is processed from a primary transcript (pri-miRNA) into a precursor miRNA (pre-miRNA) and ultimately a mature miRNA, which is incorporated into the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) to modulate gene expression. Diseases associated with MIR6514 include gastric lymphoma; however, there are currently no known drug interactions, direct therapeutic targeting, or biomarker applications for MIR6514[1].
