Overview

MicroRNA 6755 (MIR6755) is a small non-coding RNA molecule part of the microRNA family, designated "hsa-mir-6755" in humans. miRNAs are ~22-nucleotide regulatory RNAs that negatively regulate gene expression by targeting specific mRNAs for degradation or translational repression through the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC)[6][7][9]. While thousands of miRNAs—including MIR6755—have been identified or predicted by deep sequencing and bioinformatic annotation efforts, many such as MIR6755 have not been experimentally validated and lack published data regarding their function, target mRNAs, disease associations, or clinical relevance[4]. Thus, no direct biological, therapeutic, or clinical roles are established for MIR6755 at this time.
