Target intelligence / Profile preview
MicroRNA 7113 (MIR7113) is a putative or uncharacterized small non-coding RNA. As with other microRNAs, it would be expected to function in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression through base pairing to complementary sequences on target messenger RNAs, resulting in gene silencing[2][4]. However, as of September 2025, MIR7113 does not appear in major curated scientific or public databases, is not discussed in peer-reviewed literature, and has no described biological function, disease association, or pharmacological relevance. This suggests that either the name is incorrect, the locus is orphaned or uncharacterized, or it is so newly described that no functional data are available[2][3][4].
