MicroRNA 7150 (MIR7150) is a human microRNA gene encoding a small non-coding RNA molecule. MicroRNAs generally function in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, typically by binding to complementary sequences in target messenger RNAs, resulting in gene silencing via mRNA degradation or translation inhibition[2][7]. MIR7150 is annotated as a member of the miRNA family, but its sequence, expression pattern, biological functions, molecular targets, and clinical relevance remain uncharacterized in published scientific literature. One database entry notes a possible association with juvenile ankylosing spondylitis, but there is no mechanistic or experimental evidence to support a disease role.
