MicroRNA 759 (miR-759, MIR759) is a small, single-stranded, non-coding RNA classified as a microRNA that regulates gene expression post-transcriptionally. In humans, miR-759 has been implicated in the regulation of the coagulation system and vascular biology, particularly influencing susceptibility to chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension by targeting the 3′ untranslated region of the fibrinogen-α gene (FGA).
