Target intelligence / Profile preview
Mitochondrial ribosomal protein S6 pseudogene 4 (MRPS6P4) is a human pseudogene related to the MRPS6 gene. It does not encode a functional protein, and its biological role is currently unknown. Pseudogenes are typically non-functional copies of genes that may arise through duplication or retrotransposition. While some pseudogenes have regulatory RNA functions, there is no evidence that MRPS6P4 participates in functional or disease-related biology. It is not considered a therapeutic target[6][4][5].
