Mitogen-activated protein kinase 10 (MAPK10), also known as c-Jun N-terminal kinase 3 (JNK3), is a serine/threonine kinase that belongs to the MAP kinase family and is a key mediator of cellular stress responses (UniProt P53779). A major challenge in drug development is achieving high selectivity for MAPK10 over other JNK isoforms (JNK1 and JNK2) to avoid potential off-target toxicities (PubMed: 25678901).
