Monkeypox virus antigen A35 (A35)

Target
A35
Molecular classification
Glycoprotein, Viral protein, Immunomodulator
01

Overview

Monkeypox virus antigen A35 (A35R) is a viral surface glycoprotein and a key immunogenic target in MPXV infection. It is highly conserved among orthopoxviruses and plays roles in both immune evasion and virulence by inhibiting the production of immunoglobulins. The protein is a strong target of neutralizing antibodies following MPXV infection, and recombinant forms are used for serodiagnostic applications and antibody discovery.
