Mosquito salivary gland proteins (SGPs) are a diverse group of secreted molecules produced by mosquito salivary glands to facilitate blood feeding and influence host-pathogen interactions. They counteract host hemostasis, modulate immune responses, and can enhance or inhibit pathogen transmission.
