MT-ND3 pseudogene 24 (MTND3P24) is a pseudogene, meaning it is a non-functional sequence in the nuclear genome that resembles the mitochondrial MT-ND3 gene (which itself encodes a subunit of Complex I NADH dehydrogenase). Unlike the functional mitochondrial MT-ND3 gene, MTND3P24 does not code for any protein and has no known biological or disease relevance. It is not considered a drug target, enzyme, receptor, transporter, or other therapeutic target. MTND3P24 is a nuclear pseudogene; it does not produce a functional protein. It should not be confused with the genuine mitochondrial MT-ND3 gene, which encodes NADH dehydrogenase 3, a component of respiratory Complex I. There are no known biological functions, disease associations, or drugs reported to interact with MTND3P24. This pseudogene is not considered a therapeutic or diagnostic target.
