MUC1 is a transmembrane glycoprotein aberrantly glycosylated in many cancers, leading to the exposure of the Tn antigen (GalNAc-O-Ser/Thr). This Tn-MUC1 glycoform is a tumor-associated neoantigen, making it a target for immunotherapeutic strategies.
