Consequently, it is considered an incorrect or generic entry when attempting to define a precise therapeutic target for drug development (Wishart et al., 2018, Nucleic Acids Research). Analysts should treat this as a metadata label indicating a lack of target specificity rather than a distinct molecular entity.
