Overview

Rv3619 is a protein antigen from Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), the bacterium responsible for tuberculosis. It is an immunodominant antigen known for inducing strong TNF responses during early infection. Rv3619 has been incorporated into multi-antigen fusion proteins, such as ID93, as a subunit vaccine candidate against TB.
