Rv3620 is a protein antigen from Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), the bacterium responsible for tuberculosis. It has been identified as an immunogenic component and is used in research and vaccine development targeting Mtb infection. It has been shown to induce partial protection against Mtb in preclinical models, making it a candidate for inclusion in subunit vaccines. The antigen is included in the ID93 fusion protein, which combines four Mtb antigens (Rv3619, Rv1813, Rv3620, and Rv2608) to enhance immunogenicity and protective efficacy.
