Target intelligence / Profile preview
MYADML (Myeloid associated differentiation marker like) is a human pseudogene, closely related to MYADM, but does not encode a protein and is not involved in biological, pathological, or therapeutic processes. MYADML2 (a related gene) encodes a protein, but this is distinct from MYADML; much of the available literature and drug discovery information pertains to MYADM rather than MYADML. Care must be taken not to confuse MYADML with MYADM, which is a membrane protein involved in myeloid cell differentiation and airway inflammation.
