MYO7B antisense RNA 1 (MYO7B-AS1) is a long noncoding antisense transcript at the MYO7B locus. This lncRNA is one of a broad class of molecules increasingly recognized for potential regulatory activity in human tissues, but its biological function and disease relevance remain largely uncharacterized. Other lncRNAs in the heart have been shown to play roles in gene regulation and cardiac disease, but direct functions, disease associations, or therapeutic targeting evidence are currently lacking for MYO7B-AS1.
