Myosin light chain kinase pseudogene 2 (MYLKP2) is a designated pseudogene located in the human genome and is related to the functional myosin light chain kinase (MYLK) gene. Pseudogenes are typically nonfunctional genomic DNA sequences similar to normal genes, and most do not encode functional proteins.
