Target intelligence / Profile preview
NARF intronic transcript 1 (NARF-IT1) is classified as a human long non-coding RNA gene with the HGNC symbol NARF-IT1 and NCBI Gene ID 100506001. It is also known as NARF-OT1. It is an RNA derived from within the NARF gene locus but encodes no protein product. Its biological function is still unknown, and there is currently no evidence that it serves as a drug target or disease biomarker. As with other lncRNAs, NARF-IT1 may act as a regulator of gene expression at the transcriptional or post-transcriptional level, but no direct role has been assigned based on current knowledge.
