Target intelligence / Profile preview
Nectin-4 is a cell adhesion molecule belonging to the nectin family. It mediates calcium-independent cell-cell adhesion and interacts with the actin cytoskeleton. While its expression is limited in normal adult tissues, it is frequently overexpressed in various cancers, promoting tumor progression and metastasis, making it a therapeutic target. It is the target of antibody-drug conjugates such as enfortumab vedotin.
Antibody-drug conjugate targeting Nectin-4, delivering a cytotoxic payload upon internalization.
