Target intelligence / Profile preview
Neisseria adhesin A (NadA) is a trimeric autotransporter protein found in a subset of Neisseria meningitidis strains. NadA mediates adhesion to human epithelial cells and myeloid cells, facilitating colonization and infection. It is highly immunogenic and is a component of the multi-component vaccine Bexsero against serogroup B N. meningitidis.
