Target intelligence / Profile preview
NEK11 antisense RNA 1 (NEK11-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA annotated in genomic databases, situated antisense to the NEK11 gene, which encodes a serine/threonine kinase involved in DNA damage response and cell cycle regulation. There is no evidence in current literature that NEK11-AS1 functions as a protein, therapeutic target, or disease biomarker, nor are there studies identifying its role or molecular mechanisms. It should not be confused with NEK11, a protein kinase implicated in cell cycle control and DNA damage repair.
