Neurogenic inflammation is a physiological process in which sensory nerve fibers, particularly nociceptors, release neuropeptides and other mediators that initiate and propagate an inflammatory response. This pathway plays a key role in pain conditions, tissue injury responses, and various chronic inflammatory diseases.
