Overview

Neurotrophin signaling modulation refers to the regulation of cellular pathways activated by neurotrophins, a family of growth factors essential for the development, survival, and function of neurons. The main neurotrophins include nerve growth factor (NGF), brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), neurotrophin-3 (NT-3), and neurotrophin-4/5 (NT-4/5). These molecules exert their effects primarily through Trk receptors and p75NTR.
