Target intelligence / Profile preview
Norovirus GII.4 virus-like particles (VLPs) are non-infectious, recombinant protein assemblies that mimic the structure of native noroviruses. These VLPs are composed solely of the major capsid protein VP1, which self-assembles into icosahedral particles resembling the authentic virus. VLPs elicit strong immune responses and are promising candidates for vaccine development.
