Target intelligence / Profile preview
Nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) is an evolutionarily conserved family of transcription factors critical for immune regulation, inflammation control, cellular growth/apoptosis decisions—and whose dysregulation contributes directly to cancer progression as well as autoimmune/inflammatory pathologies.
NF-κB inhibitors block the activation of NF-κB, preventing its translocation to the nucleus and subsequent gene transcription.
