Nuclear pore complex-interacting protein family member B4 (NPIPB4) is a human gene encoding a protein that is predicted to be membrane-associated. It belongs to a family of genes (including paralogs such as NPIPB13) presumed to interact with the nuclear pore complex, a structural assembly in the nuclear envelope that regulates transport between the nucleus and cytoplasm.
