Target intelligence / Profile preview
Nucleosome assembly protein 1 like 1 pseudogene 1 (NAP1L1P1) is a pseudogene—an inactive genomic element similar in sequence to the functional NAP1L1 gene, which encodes a nucleosome assembly protein involved in chromatin structure and cell proliferation[1][4]. Pseudogenes like NAP1L1P1 do not produce functional proteins and generally lack biological function, although some pseudogenes can occasionally affect cellular regulation through non-coding RNA transcripts[2]. There is no evidence that NAP1L1P1 has any direct biological, physiological, or therapeutic relevance.
