Target intelligence / Profile preview
Olfactory receptor family 10 subfamily AB member 1 pseudogene (OR10AB1P) is classified as a pseudogene in the human genome, and is related to the large family of olfactory receptors responsible for detection of odorants in the nose[5][1]. Like other olfactory receptor genes, functional versions encode G protein-coupled receptors involved in odorant signal transduction, but as a pseudogene, OR10AB1P is not believed to encode a functional protein, and is not currently associated with any biological function, disease roles, or known drug interactions[5].
