Target intelligence / Profile preview
Olfactory receptor family 11 subfamily H member 13 pseudogene (OR11H13P, also known as ORNP-NP1) is a human pseudogene within the large olfactory receptor gene family. While functional olfactory receptor genes encode G protein-coupled receptors that participate in odorant recognition and neuronal signal transduction, OR11H13P is annotated as a pseudogene and does not encode a functional receptor protein. As such, it is not involved in olfactory signal transduction or any other characterized biological process and is not considered a therapeutic target.
