Olfactory receptor family 13 subfamily C member 9 (OR13C9) is a G protein-coupled receptor that belongs to the largest gene family in the human genome—the olfactory receptor family. OR13C9 detects odorant molecules through a 7-transmembrane domain structure, similar to other neurotransmitter and hormone receptors, and transduces signals via G protein-coupling mechanisms.
