Olfactory receptor family 7 subfamily G member 3 (OR7G3)

Olfactory receptor family 7 subfamily G member 3 (OR7G3) is a member of the human olfactory receptor family, which encodes proteins that interact with odorant molecules in the nasal epithelium to initiate neuronal responses leading to the perception of smell[1][2][3][8]. OR7G3, like other olfactory receptors, belongs to the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family and displays the characteristic seven-transmembrane domain structure[1][2][3][4][5].
