Olfactory receptor family 8 subfamily G member 3 (OR8G3, also named OR8G3P) is annotated bioinformatically as a member of the human olfactory receptor gene family, which encodes G protein-coupled receptors responsible for the detection of odorants in the nasal epithelium[3][7][8].
