Osteogenesis stimulants encompass a class of interventions, devices, and drugs designed to activate endogenous processes leading to increased bone mass. These agents/devices promote de novo synthesis of bony tissue via physical stimulation or pharmacologic modulation, enhancing the proliferation, differentiation, and activity of osteogenic cells such as osteoblasts.
