PfATP4 is a P-type cation-transporter ATPase found in *Plasmodium falciparum*. It functions as a Na⁺ efflux pump, actively extruding Na⁺ from the cytosol of intraerythrocytic parasites to maintain low intracellular sodium concentrations. It is an essential membrane protein and a validated antimalarial drug target.
