PACRG antisense RNA 3 (PACRG-AS3)

PACRG antisense RNA 3 (PACRG-AS3) is a non-coding antisense long RNA gene located on chromosome 6 (chr6:163165414-163192002, hg38)[3][8]. It does not code for a protein but is thought to play roles in the regulation of its sense counterpart, the PACRG gene, which is involved in pathways relevant to neurodegeneration and immune response, though the precise biological functions and disease relevance of PACRG-AS3 itself remain uncharacterized[1][3][7][8].
