PALLD antisense RNA 1 (PALLD-AS1) is a putative long non-coding RNA believed to be transcribed antisense to the PALLD gene, which encodes palladin, a cytoskeletal organizing protein involved in cell shape, adhesion, and cancer susceptibility[5]. As with many antisense RNAs, its putative, uncharacterized function may include regulation of its sense gene's expression, but there is currently no direct experimental evidence linking PALLD-AS1 to specific molecular roles, biological functions, disease involvement, or drug interactions.
