Pathogenic dampness

Pathogenic dampness is a core concept in Traditional Chinese Medicine referring to a syndrome caused by excess moisture or abnormal water/fluid transport in the body, thought to obstruct Qi movement and cause varied symptoms such as heaviness, aches, edema, digestive complaints, and turbid body discharges.
