Overview
PC4 and SFRS1 interacting protein 1 (PSIP1), also known as LEDGF/p75 or DFS70, is a chromatin-associated protein that acts as a transcriptional coactivator and plays roles in stress response, mRNA splicing, and cell survival. It is a critical host factor for HIV integration, making it a potential target for anti-HIV drug development. Autoantibodies against DFS70/LEDGF are found in some autoimmune diseases.
