Target intelligence / Profile preview
PCGF3 antisense RNA 1 (PCGF3-AS1) is a gene encoding a long non-coding RNA that is transcribed antisense to the PCGF3 locus. Little is known about its molecular function, biological roles, or involvement in disease. It is not considered a conventional drug target, and no drugs, disease associations, or clinical biomarkers related to PCGF3-AS1 have been described as of current literature[7]. The PCGF3-AS1 locus is distinct from PCGF3, which is an important protein involved in epigenetic regulation, but PCGF3-AS1 itself is not a member of recognized protein families and its biological significance remains to be determined.
