Target intelligence / Profile preview
PDCD6IP pseudogene 2 (PDCD6IPP2) is a human pseudogene located in the genome and related by sequence to the functional gene PDCD6IP (Programmed cell death 6 interacting protein). Pseudogenes are typically non-coding genomic DNA sequences similar to normal genes but generally nonfunctional due to mutations, lack of regulatory elements, or disruption. PDCD6IPP2 does not encode a functional protein and is not considered a biomedical target or of direct therapeutic interest[7].
