PDE2A antisense RNA 2 (PDE2A-AS2) is a long non-coding antisense RNA transcribed from the region opposite to the phosphodiesterase 2A (PDE2A) gene. It does not encode a protein and is not recognized as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or other canonical therapeutic target. As of current knowledge, there is minimal information on its biological function, disease association, or direct clinical applications. Most literature and databases focus on the protein-coding gene PDE2A, which is a well-characterized phosphodiesterase involved in cAMP and cGMP signaling, but not on its antisense RNAs[1][2][3][4][5][6][7].
