PDZ domain-containing RING finger protein 4 (PDZRN4) is a human protein encoded by the PDZRN4 gene. It belongs to the PDZ domain-containing RING finger protein family, specifically functioning as an E3 ubiquitin ligase due to the presence of a RING finger domain[3][5]. PDZRN4 is implicated in metal ion binding and mediates protein–protein interactions, likely involved in regulating signaling pathways and cell fate by scaffolding complexes via PDZ domains[3][5]. Evidence suggests a putative tumor suppressor role in certain cancers such as hepatocellular carcinoma by exhibiting anti-proliferative effects and a similar protein family member is implicated in synovial sarcoma proliferation[2][8].
