Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase A-like 4C (PPIAL4C) is a member of the cyclophilin family of enzymes that catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline residues in peptide chains, facilitating efficient and accurate protein folding within the cell. PPIAL4C is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1. While direct functional data are scarce, it is predicted to display cyclosporin A binding and peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase activity, and it may be involved in regulating protein folding and function. Diseases associated with PPIAL4C include well-differentiated liposarcoma and Glycogen Storage Disease III.
